As I am sitting down eating lunch i thought I would do a little research and attempt to write a blog post on my iPhone using a WordPress application.
Rippln Mobile App Network
Smartphones have revolutionized the way we communicate, play games, go places, and live life. Think about it, when was the last time you used a map or your vehicles navigation system?
According to a recent survey, out of almost 7500 users, 79% of them get on their smartphone within 15 minutes of waking up, and 62% immediately grab their smartphone as soon as they wake up. (I am usually on it right after I turn off my alarm on iPhone, how about you? Let us know below)
Not to mention that all day everyday, users are playing games, sharing websites, recommending places to eat and visit with their friends. (By the way if you are ever in Sherman Oaks Massis Kabob is awesome) However, no one is getting paid for sharing apps and games, only the companies and apps are benefiting.
Ask yourself, isn’t it time, that the smartphone user benefited from this(sharing)?
The creators of Rippln Mobile thought so!
Rippln Mobile Network
The creators of Rippln; Brian Underwood CEO, Jonathan Budd, Terry Lacore, and Jim Bunch have put together a product that has the potential to be a complete game changer. Allowing people to get paid for the things they already do every single day (sharing apps and inviting others to join them in a game.)
On April 12th in Dallas, TX they presented to a large group of people their idea, and it immediately exploded and took the mobile marketing and internet marketing scene by storm. In 3 month’s time, while being in “stealth mode” the company is now over 1.2 million strong.
That is extremely incredible considering each and everyone of those Ripplers that have joined are by invite only. It is not wide open for everyone to join… Yet. (CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE)
What Is a Rippln Ripple?
Just like a ripple in the water, with Rippln you will be able to watch your team grow from friends and family, to people in countries you have never met. Each of these people that you personally invite and the people those people invite will be in your ripple!
Once Rippln goes LIVE, all of these people in your ripple will be apart of your audience. That is where the gamification comes into play. You will be able to earn points for sharing apps, websites, games, and pictures with your ripple which will all lead to you earning rewards!
How Does Rippln Work?
Right now while Rippln is in Phase 1 or “Stealth Mode” they are only allowing people to join via invites (a few exceptions have been made for the players that powered up, like me!).
At first you are only allowed 5 invites. Once you send someone an invite they have 24 hours before their code expires. So it is important that you get back with them. Once you have used all 5 invites, 5 new will appear. Each of these invites will go through the same process as you.
Once you join Rippln you are considered a Rippln Fan, but as Rippln moves into Phase 2 they will soon allow people to become a Rippln Player. A Fan is free and does not cost anything, but you can still get rewarded for sharing with people in your ripple, while a Player will be a am opportunity that will allow you to take your ripple audience to a whole new level.
Once Rippln is in the middle of Phase 2, they will release the Rippln Communicator App that will allow you to keep in touch, share, and earn rewards. This will allow you to grow your social graph and share with friends the apps you have been playing or the websites you visit the most.
Right now, there isn’t a specific timeline as to when this Communicator App will be available for download, but it can be expected to be used on both Apple and Android.
